In other news. I installed ubuntu last night, the latest gibbon one. Mostly coz my Sid install had broken when X had upgraded to a new version that drivers for my video card didn't seem to exist for yet.

This means that Compiz is working on my machine for the first time ever. The windows move around faster than they used to. Well. Until you turn on all the chrome at least. They're well pretty. Not good for productivity though. I seem to have wasted at least one entire night just turning on and off all the different effects to see what they do. Heh.
